Athens & Acropolis

The Acropolis of Athens built in the 5th century BCE (BC) is one of the most famous ancient archaeological sites in the world.

The term “Acropolis” means “high city” in Greek. This was home to kings, a citadel, a mythical home of the gods and a religious center.

The oldest buildings on Earth are in Acropolis.
